My name is Heather Smith, and I am excited to introduce myself to you and this wonderful practice!

Heather Smith

I pursued my career in dentistry to provide lifelong healthy smiles to encourage confidence for my patients wherever their life takes them. Dentistry for me combines all of my passions of art, science, engineering, and helping others to become their greatest, healthy version of themselves. I truly believe a smile is the greatest gift you can share, so if you don’t have a smile, I’ll give you one of mine.

I began my path into dentistry with my undergrad degree at Indiana University Bloomington as an Art History major, with double minors in Biology and Chemistry. My earliest experience in the dental field was working at a pediatric dental office while working on my undergraduate degree. I was the president of a student club called Hoosier Dentist, a volunteer group that promoted oral health with the local Boys and Girls Club members every month. I furthered my career at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Upon graduating in 2016, I moved back to my hometown in northeastern Indiana, gaining experience as a full-time associate dentist in Angola, IN. I previously served on northeastern Indiana’s Isaac Knapp Dental Board and am a current ADA, IDA, IDDS, and Alpha Omega member.

I married my high school sweetheart and am a proud mother of our two children, Grayson and Molly. We have two labrador retrievers, Kilroy and Daisy. We moved to Zionsville in 2020 and are enjoying all of the fun things to do around the area! I enjoy playing golf, cooking, baking, scrapbooking, and making jewelry.

I feel especially excited to get to know you and your family in the many years to come. I look forward to fulfilling all of your dental needs and maintaining your greatest oral health!
