In response to the rapidly changing information and circumstances regarding the Coronavirus, the State of Emergency declared in Boone County and in an effort to protect my patients, my staff, and all of our families, I will be limiting treatment to patients who need emergency care only until April 6 unless conditions require a longer hiatus. This is in accordance with the recommendations of the Indiana Dental Association and the American Dental Association. My staff will be calling all scheduled patients in this time frame as soon as possible to reschedule non-essential treatment in the coming days. We appreciate your patience through this process as we are working hard to coordinate staff and patient schedules to accommodate as many re-scheduled patients as possible by early May. This, of course, is subject to change as community safety dictates,
Please know that I did not come to this decision lightly. As supplies such as masks, gloves, and sterilization supplies are rightly being diverted to hospitals only, I feel this is the best course of action to ensure that I can keep my patients out of pain as we weather this crisis and wait for the supply chain to be replenished and to protect the community as a whole. I will, as always, be available to address your dental questions or concerns by phone and will be seeing true emergencies in the office on a case by case basis.
To reach me in an emergency, please call our regular office numbers, 317-873-2206 or 765-482-6672 and press 1 to be connected to my direct voice mail. I will call you back as soon as possible. Thank You for your understanding in this difficult time and for your continued confidence.
